[EU Inc] Demo

I love the pose on this model and it's definitely one of my favorite EU Inc models so far - but I'll wait until I have all the models (including the tasty looking Heavy model)  before I decide on my favorite!

Sync out.

  1. Hey! Because of your blog I got into Mercs Recon and the minis and having the desire to paint them. Thanks for getting me interested into such an awesome hobby.

I just have a quick question: What color primer do you usually use when painting your minis and specifically the Mercs minis? I can't decide if I should go with white or black to start out with.

    1. Hi - thanks for following along. I hope you enjoy the world of MERCS!

I don't know what your level of experience with miniature painting is, but for beginners it is recommended that you prime with black, as black is more forgiving. When I started in the hobby, I used black primer.
Now I prime with white, because I want the finished colours on my MERCS miniatures to be brighter.

      Good luck!

    2. Hey thanks for the advice! It is really helpful.

I'm actually a total newbie and in the process of gathering up the materials I need to get started. I also picked up another gamer's Wave 2 package, so I'll have plenty of minis to paint with besides the ones in the two core games. Hopefully my minis will look half as good as yours because your paint jobs look fantastic.

      Thanks again!

    3. No worries, and good luck with your new hobby.

There are lots of great videos available online for beginners, and just like any hobby, remember that practice makes perfect!

    4. Good luck! Like Sync said there are so many good references beginners can use to get started in the hobby. When I started out you pretty much only grew based on the advice from those around you and the occasional magazine, these days epic paint instructions are a YouTube video away!
