Reinforcements!

I spent last night and this morning assembling, basing and undercoating the reinforcements for my existing MERCS squads, which arrived earlier this week. These models will round off my current 5-man squads to the full 6-man squads! Here are the models above, from left to right:

• CCC Demolition
• KemVar Demolition
• USCR Medic
• sefadu Assault

I'm going to see if I can finish off the CCC Demo today, so that I can stay on track for my MERCS madness month - stay tuned!

[CCC] Assault Leader

Wow it's been a busy week! With the Assault Leader complete, that's the last of my original CCC! To round off my full CCC, I'll assemble and paint up the CCC Demo tomorrow, which came in from Defiant Gaming earlier this week.

[CCC] Heavy Assault

This is another awesome model from the CCC - the Heavy Assault! You can really feel the weight of his weapon by looking at the way he's got his gangsta lean going. The ammo feed wrapping around his body looks awesome too!

[CCC] Sniper

I love the CCC Sniper model! His cocky smile, backwards cap, and unique pose contribute to a very colourful character.

So I’m half-way through the CCC now, but the complete repaints on these guys are taking their toll... I've been up way past my bedtime every night this week!

Fear not! My resolve has not wavered, and I’m determined to make it through my MERCS madness month!

[CCC] Incinerator

Next up is the CCC Incinerator – this model definitely needed work done! It's a fantastic model which I had failed to pick out even the most obvious details on my first attempts at painting. Changing my recipe for the yellow was a huge help in bringing out the detail on my CCC – the orange wash just wasn’t enough of a contrast to the original yellow I had!
