FCC House 4 - Assembled Part 2
These FCC House 4 models look bad ass! All of them have a really rugged aesthetic aligned with the FCC background, and the sculpts themselves are great too.
The Sapper, with his Crowd Control Variable Chamber Shotgun, looks like a strong option on the tabletop, with it's variable ammunition giving the unit a range of utility.
And the Heavy's Maelstrom Gatling Gun just looks wicked - I still prefer the CCC Heavy, but this weapon is certainly a contender!

FCC House 9 - Assembled Part 2
It was great to finally round off the FCC House 9, which hold a special place in my heart as one of the original four factions released for MERCS.
The Liaison sculpt wasn't as clean at the Shock Trooper and Pack Rat models (which were very good quality), and had a lot of difficult flash around the rubble under the model's left leg.
Still, in my opinion, the models received in this shipment are still a huge improvement on what I received previously. I sincerely hope, for the good of MERCS, that the model quality distributed at retail is this high quality.

MERCS 2.0 - Pro-painted FFC House 9
Megacon Games also shared the pro-painted photos of the FCC House 9 in their latest MERCS Recon Kickstarter update.
You might notice the seasoned hand of Angel Giraldez, who painted the original five FCC House 9 models for Megacon Games back in 2011 (he also painted the original five CCC and KemVar models too!).

MERCS 2.0 - FCC House 4
FCC House 4 resides in the upper northwest of the United States into the southwest of Canada. They are fairly isolated. Most MegaCons leave them alone. They live fairly normal lives by Lost Margin standards. The majority of their interactions with the MegaCon world revolves around them capturing and ransoming members of MegaCons they come across. They don't want to harm worker-citizens (WC). If the MegaCon doesn't pay the ransom, the WC is invited to stay with House 4. It is both a means of revenue and recruitment.

Sync's [FCC]
I feel like such a moron for ever disliking the FCC models. They look awesome - even though they aren't as sci-fi as the other MERCS Megacons, there is definitely a place for them in the world of MERCS. The models are beautifully sculpted, and fit the background of the faction perfectly.
Well, next up I'm going to start on the Keizai Waza - a very sci-fi looking Megacon! Stay tuned!

[FCC] House Member
And here's the last member of the FCC, ready to take to the battlefield! I LOVE the cybernetic-enhancement he's got to compensate for the loss of his left eye, and the scar that remains adds a lot of character to the model! The kneeling pose is also unique to the MERCS as well.
I've got to make a start on my Keizai Waza, so I'll be posting the squad shot this afternoon - and kicking off work on my Keizai Waza tomorrow!

[FCC] House Master
Another fantastic dynamic model from MERCS! I think I've said that exact line several times before... well, I guess that just shows that MERCS have a lot of fantastic dynamic models, and that I probably need to extend my vocabulary somewhat.

[FCC] Liaison
Another fantastic and unique model pose from the MERCS line. When I first looked over the model, I wrote up this tactica article in regards to fielding the Liaison - which Brian from MERCS was so awesome as to provide a reply to!
I haven't put this guy through his paces yet, but I'm keen to get him on the table and within short-range of an enemy - to Machine-Pistol some face!

[FCC] Chemical Engineer
I still hate painting faces. It’s the eyes that get me! Notice anything familiar about this model? Yeah, it’s the same model as the PackRat, just with a different head and weapon. These two models are quite easily distinguishable though – the helmet makes a really big difference!

[FCC] Boomer
Alright, I’m sold. I LOVE THE FCC. I don’t know why it took me so long to realise how cool these models are, and how well the models fit in with the background of the faction. In the sci-fi world of MERCS, not everyone can have Nanite Armour or Active Camo – and the FCC really capture the look and feel of a military group living beyond the borders of society.
The Boomer model looks awesome – I didn’t even realise his back leg was a prosthetic until I came to paint it!

[FCC] Pack Rat
Kicking off my MERCS Mayhem Month with the FCC – one of the original 4 MERCS factions! My first impressions of the FCC were that they weren’t sci-fi enough for me, and even tried to proxy some infinity models for my FCC.
For completeness, I decided to pick the models up and have had them sitting on my shelf assembled and undercoated waiting for some paint. I’m still not totally sold on the aesthetic, but it’s growing on me – there is definitely a place in the world of MERCS for an under-funded rebel faction, and the sculpts fit that concept perfectly!
