GCC - WIP 2

It's been slow progress painting through the rest of my GCC faction, but here's a quick and dirty photo of the last five models!
The Judge, Tribunal and Heavy models in the back row are my favorite of the faction, so I saved painting them up until last!

I'm planning on finishing the basing this week, and taking individual model photos over the weekend - stay tuned!

GCC - WIP

Over the past week I've been painting through my GCC, so I thought I'd share a WIP progress shot I snapped over the weekend. I'm planning to do the basing for the whole faction in one hobby session once all the models are painted.
Though looking at this photo now, the colour scheme would probably benefit from some additional highlights.

While I get my GCC finished, I'm going to continue throwing up the new photos of my Keizai Waza though, so stay tuned!

GCC - Assembled Part 2

Another hobby blackout due to some ongoing family health issues - but here are the last miniatures that arrived as part of my All Your MERCS Are Belong To Us addon!

I think I actually prefer this Judge model over the variant Judge model,which was an exclusive MERCS Recon Kickstarter bonus, so it'll be hard for me to decide which one to paint.

The Heavy is pretty cool as well, with his Blitzkrieg Twin Assault System not being the standard 'heavy' weapons seen across the other factions.

So I now have every MERCS model for every MERCS faction assembled, and ready for paint!

I plan on finishing the factions I received in MERCS Recon first (CCC, EU Inc, KemVar and Keizai Waza) before moving onto another new faction.

GCC - Assembled

And finally, the GCC! This is probably the faction I was looking forward to putting together the most, so I saved them for last - I love the aesthetic, and after putting them together they're at the top of the list to become my 'main' faction.

Here are the GCC models from the Unilateral Mandate MERCS Recon expansion, plus the Sniper, Judge and Spy (which were all Stretch Goal bonuses from the Kickstarter).

MERCS 2.0 - GCC

The Global Corporate Court is where MegaCons air their grievances. The GCC's power is in the bureaucracy. The GCC plays favorites, is bogged down by red tape, and can be bought. It takes a long time to reach an agreement, which often involves the use of a temporary peace keeping force and on-the-ground presence. The GCC understands their power resides in their ability to create dissension among the MegaCons and are not quick to resolve major difficulties. Oftentimes, they simply recuse themselves from major decisions. The GCC function like a MegaCon. They have their own MERCS force and have been increasingly prone to use it.
